Biography
Andy Lloyd is Head of Media and Communications at Fresh, a small team which has built an international reputation with recognition from the World Health Organisation, national charities, the Chief Medical Officer, Public Health England, the NHS Leadership Academy, the Irish Cancer Society, and highlighted in two government strategies for its work in reducing smoking in the North East. His work covers public and partner communications, including award winning campaigns. He is a former journalist, has experience in the NHS and local government, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Scott is the Regional Tobacco Control Lead in the Yorkshire and the Humber, hosted by Wakefield Council and funded by the Association of Directors of Public Health, Yorkshire and the Humber. Formerly, Scott worked in the private sector before moving in to Education and then Public Health, where he has work since 2003 for the NHS and the Department of Health. Scott was recently elected as a Member of the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) through Distinction for his contribution to Public Health.
