Biography
Dr Laura Jones is a lecturer in qualitative and mixed-methods applied health research at the University of Birmingham. Prior to this appointment, she worked as a Senior Research Fellow in the Division of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Nottingham. Laura led the development and initiation of a randomised controlled trial to test the effectiveness of a complex intervention to reduce children’s exposure to secondhand smoke in the home. In addition, Laura was actively involved in the development and testing of the NCSCT Very Brief Advice for secondhand smoke training module.
