Biography
Ali Al-Bakri, a dentist (BSc of dentistry from Baghdad University) with a dental public health background (MSc of Dental Public Health from Queen Mary University, Diploma in Dental Public Health from the Royal College of Surgeons of England). I have an interest in waterpipe tobacco studies and I worked in collaboration with Dr Saba Kassim and Prof Ray Croucher from Queen Mary University to conduct the first study investigating waterpipe tobacco dependency in the UK.
Saba Kassim, a postdoctoral research assistant in Queen Mary university, Dental Public Health. Expert in khat chewing with tobacco smoking amongst minorities specifically the Yemenis. Also , currently work as data manager for tobacco use amongst Bangledshi community in Tower Hamelts -London. I have interest in research of social determinants of health specifically risk and protective (psychosocial and behavioural) determinants of health.
