Biography
Tina Williams is a nurse and teacher by profession. She first became involved in tobacco control during the mid 1990’s.
She went on to become the founding coordinator of Wirral Stop Smoking Service one of the first of 10 services launched with Health Action Zone funding following the publication of the White Paper Smoking Kills in 1998.
She has since had the privilege of being Tobacco Control Co-ordinator and Workplace Health Lead for Wirral; creator and manager of both the National Clean Air Award and the Look after your Lungs programme for The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, where she went on to become Deputy Director of Tobacco Control and Head of Training.
Tina joined Tobacco Free Futures (formerly Smokefree North West) in November 2010 where she is currently Head of Training and Development.
