Abstract Success to engagement is all about understanding what goes in the mind. Our first storytelling is about who controls who. In this documentary we get an insight into the smokers thinking around freedom of choice. Is the person in control of the cigarette or is this person being controlled by the cigarette. However interestingly stress is mentioned as a trigger leading to the need for smoking therefore do we then see stress controlling and shaping the lives of people and how they behave.
The purpose of this story is to understand and empathise with the client and see what is going on in their minds triggering urges to smoke. It is important for us to learn about the thought process of smokers and the relationship they have with the cigarette. Our story telling from real life case studies put you in the shoes of this client and will open your minds to connect and empathise with the client. This will help you think of creative ways to rephrase your communication with smokers because you now understand how difficult it is to give up a cigarette, the true friend. There are many characters and different scenarios presented in this documentary.

Presenter biography Emaan is a successful social entrepreneur, a recent graduate of Master’s in Public Health and a Fellowship of the RSPH. Emaan helps Service Providers create and deliver health programmes which allow people to work together to their fullest potential.
Emaan utilises real life experiences, she will weave tales that will have audiences stay focused. Emaan is a quick thinker who can connect with almost anyone and is an expert when it comes to communications and group dynamics. Emaan will help people find the meaning in current position people hold and let go of the things that are not working. This allows people to focus on what’s, leaving behind the past and embracing change.
